Acupuncturists

Eun Lee
Hi. I was born in Korea and came to NZ in 2003. After working at an international language school as a student counsellor for the first 5 years, I entered the New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine (NZCCM). As I have always been interested in naturally-achievable wellbeing, it led me to study alternative Korean health treatments like foot reflexology, hand needling whenever possible. Studying at NZCCM taught me skills such as needling, moxa, and cupping. With various experiences, I could modify cupping therapy from Korean and Chinese methods for patients who are afraid of needles. I am a registered ACC provider and acupuncturist with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science (Acupuncture). Feel free to come and visit me! I look forward to meeting you and helping you get the most out of your health and beyond!

I am originally from South Korea and graduated as an Acupuncturist in New Zealand in 2006. I have been practicing acupuncture for over ten years and I am currently a member of the New Zealand Register Of Acupuncturists (NZRA) as well as a registered ACC provider. I specialise in treating sports injuries and musculo-skeletal diseases along with problems regarding fertility, reproductive health and other women’s issues. I understand that everyone is an individual and will always listen to the patient and explain what is causing present problems. Over ten years of experience, my main goal as a therapist is to adopt a holistic approach to the client’s therapeutic needs to enhance body awareness and to improve posture and correct musculo-skeletal imbalance. I am happy to be able to assist patients with treatments under many conditions.

After graduating, I passed the Chinese national board exam and acquired a traditional Chinese medicine doctor license. My treatment is based on traditional Chinese medicine combined with various treatment methods such as acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, electric acupuncture and auriculotherapy to seek the balance of our whole body. Acupuncture is effective for treating musculoskeletal injuries, especially in pain relief. It not only helps internal health issues such as digestive, gynecological problems, etc., but can also help with wellbeing, beauty, and harmony and balance of the whole body to prevent potential health problems. I will do my best for my patients’ internal and external body health.
